The DLSI Academic Foundation is committed to supporting academic achievement, through participation in academic programmes and financial contribution, to enable talented and deserving students to reach levels of personal aspiration and excellence.
In each of the principal DLSI markets - Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and the USA - DLSI bursaries offer an agreed amount, per annum, which is available, on application, to Universities with academic programmes focused on construction and property economics. The bursaries are also, available to individual students, completing postgraduate courses in these specific - or related - fields of study.
DLSI will also actively support academic courses or portions thereof, by way of visiting lectures, focused seminars and the like, providing students with an insight into the world of property and construction economics - plus outlining employment opportunities, with international consultancies, such as DLSI, post graduation.
Initial enquiry in respect of the foregoing may be made, informally, through the Partners principally responsible for administering the Academic Foundation in respective DLSI markets, namely; Johan Kemp in Africa; Mark Beattie in Australia; Nick Butcher in the USA; Joseph Lee in Asia and Gillian Sutherland in Europe. Full contact details for these individuals are available on our website www.davislangdon.com.
Following initial enquiry, formal applications for bursaries, etc will be considered by our International Board and administered by the practice's Executive Committee. Any immediate enquiries in respect of the foregoing may be addressed to gillian.sutherland@davislangdon-uk.com
To assist with initial self assessment, please refer to the "Terms of Reference & Assessment Criteria", which follow.
